Knee brace
hinged (Neoprene) or hinged
knee brace is a versatile knee support which offers the advantage
of controlled compression around the knee and the rigid side support
of a splint. It allows normal flexion and free movement of the
knee joint.
Knee Brace Hinged
- Features
Rigid side splinting ensures full
weight bearing.
Bi axial hinge construction
mimics the natural knee joint to support the cruciate ligament
at all flexion angles
Open patella design with
patellar buttress relieves patellar pressure and positions
it.
Four way stretchable fabric
gives a controlled and comfortable compression in various
positions of the knee.
Anti tourniquet effect, ensures no constriction
to blood flow, on one hand and better grip of the product tot
the body on the other.
Anatomic construction ensures snug and a comfortable
fit.

The product is pulled
on the leg. The patellar opening is placed on the patella. Care
should be taken to the match the flexion movement of the hinge
with the natural flexion movement of the knee joint. The fulcrum
of the hinge should be aligned to the center of the knee. The
hook loop rejoinders are fastened to a comfortable compression.
The body of this
knee brace is made
out of three layered Neoprene foam bonded fabric, with a four
way stretch, the outer layers are made out of strong nylon fabric
which ensures a long life, good aesthetics and color fastness.
It is ergonomically shaped to provide good grip around the knee
anatomy and ensures no bunching on knee bending.
The side pockets have aluminum hinged splints to provide lateral
stability and support, but allow normal flexion of the knee
joint. Anterior Patellar opening and patellar silicon padding
provide proper support and positioning of patella and comfortable
compression to the area.
Hook and loop closures provide close contoured fitting of the
brace around the knee and a control on the degree of compression
apart from easy application and removal.
